Job summary

Allied Universal in Dallas, TX is seeking a Security Officer for Communications Control Room. You will coordinate dispatch communications, monitor access, and respond to security incidents at a technology and telecommunications site.

The role emphasizes clear communication, customer service, and teamwork with onsite staff; previous security experience and the ability to work a fixed day schedule is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background investigation will be conducted as per federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor and coordinate dispatch communications for security-related personnel, service requests, alarms, access concerns, and emergency response activities.
• Receive, document, prioritize, and relay incident information in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift communications using required systems and reporting tools.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business and perimeter, and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.

• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
