Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Leesport, PA. You will serve clients, conduct patrols, and monitor access while delivering strong customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, at least 6 months security experience, and comfort using a computer or tablet. Schedule is Mon–Fri 6:00 AM–2:00 PM with a $16.75 per hour pay rate.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Leesport, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to maintain a secure environment for residents, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

1. Security Experience:

   • Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience (C112). This experience should be documented and verifiable through previous employment or training programs.

2. Valid Driver's License:

   • All candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the Driver Policy Requirements (C123). A copy of the driver's license must be submitted as part of the application process.

3. Technical Proficiency:

   • Candidates should demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using computers or tablets (B204). This includes familiarity with basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms effectively.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and maintain awareness of activity throughout the location.
• Complete required reports, logs, and shift communications accurately and promptly.

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
