Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Command Center in Cumberland, RI to safeguard clients across healthcare and other facilities. You will coordinate dispatch communications, monitor access controls, and document incidents while delivering exceptional customer service as part of a collaborative team.

In this full-time role, you will work a rotating schedule with varied shifts. The position requires at least one year of security experience, CPR is preferred, and a background check plus

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Able to use a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and coordinate communications from the dispatch center, receiving calls, documenting requests, and directing appropriate personnel to incidents and service needs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and activity reports, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Monitor access control, alarm, and camera systems as assigned, reporting irregular activity and helping to deter unauthorized access at the healthcare location.

As a Security Officer Command Center in Cumberland, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in a healthcare location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and support timely responses to security-related needs. You will help maintain access control processes, document incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while working collaboratively with site personnel. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
