Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue and recover access credentials, maintain records.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and perimeters to identify unauthorized access and concerns.
• Communicate professionally and document observations and access-control activity.

As an Access Control Officer at a financial institution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor access activity, and assist employees and visitors with professionalism. You will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment through clear communication, strong customer service, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue and recover access credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized access and other security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while documenting observations, incidents, and access-control activity in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
