Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to food and beverage distribution areas by verifying credentials, screening visitors, and maintaining visitor entry records.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly report relevant information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entrances, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

• Security Experience (C115)
  Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in a security-related role. This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle security protocols and respond effectively to security incidents.

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
  Candidates should possess experience with access control systems and badge management. Familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges is essential for maintaining security standards.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
  Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage electronic communications, and utilize digital tools effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)
  Candidates should have a background in customer service, showcasing their ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues. Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset are crucial for this role.

Job Schedule:

Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
