Job summary

GardaWorld Security is hiring a Security Supervisor to lead and develop Security Officers on site. You will supervise daily operations, manage post coverage, and ensure safety procedures are followed with a strong emphasis on client service.

Schedule is 0800–1600 Monday to Friday or 1600–0000, with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, disability and life insurance, plus uniforms provided. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and timely shift reporting.
• Ability to work weekends and assigned schedule.
• Able to pass extensive background screening.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
• Supervise, coach, and direct Security Officers.
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
• Prior security, military, law enforcement, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Current CLEET license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Security Officers and oversee duties and post orders.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting visitors and assisting staff.
• Supervise daily security operations and ensure adequate coverage.
• Conduct routine checks for professionalism, attendance, and uniforms.
• Assist with training, coaching, and guidance to Officers.
• Control access and verify credentials for all entrants.
• Perform routine patrols and identify security or safety concerns.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance issues.
• Lead response to incidents, emergencies, and alarms per procedures.
• Provide basic first aid when needed and coordinate with responders.
• Prepare accurate incident and activity reports; communicate needs to management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to Security Officers while ensuring all assigned duties, post orders, and security procedures are followed.
• Provide outstanding customer service by welcoming visitors, verifying identification, and assisting employees and guests.
• Supervise daily security operations and help ensure appropriate security coverage across assigned posts.
• Conduct routine checks of Security Officers to ensure professionalism, attendance, uniform standards, and compliance with site procedures.
• Assist with training, coaching, and providing ongoing guidance to Security Officers.
• Control access to the property by ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises.
• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols to identify security or safety concerns.
• Monitor and inspect security equipment and report any maintenance or operational issues.
• Take a leadership role when responding to incidents, emergencies, and alarms while ensuring established procedures are followed.
• Provide basic first aid when appropriate and coordinate with emergency responders as needed.
• Answer questions and provide assistance in person and by phone.
• Prepare and review accurate incident, activity, and daily reports.
• Communicate security concerns, incidents, staffing issues, and operational needs promptly to management and clients.
• Assist with coordinating shift coverage and responding to staffing needs when necessary.
• Serve as a point of contact for Security Officers and assist with resolving issues or escalating concerns to management when appropriate.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by remaining alert, providing leadership, and responding effectively to unexpected situations.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to report to all scheduled shifts on time.
• Ability to work the assigned schedule, including weekends.
• Ability to pass an extensive background screening process.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively supervise, coach, and provide direction to Security Officers.
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
• Previous security, military, law enforcement, or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Current CLEET license or the ability to obtain one.
