Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicant will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• As a condition of employment, applicant will be subject to a drug screen.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and report observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of financial institution facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and follow all applicable laws, licensing requirements, and site policies related to armed duties.

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
