Allied Universal’s Merrimack, NH location seeks a Security Officer Armed Emergency Response Patrol to safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will perform armed patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain a visible security presence to deter risk.

The role requires excellent customer service, clear communication, and adherence to site policies. A background check and drug screen are required where permitted by law; armed licensure may be needed by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, grounds, perimeter, access points, and other assigned areas.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries.
• Maintain reports and documentation, and communicate observations and incidents to leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Armed Emergency Response Patrol in Merrimack, NH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming, security-related environment. Pay Rate: $28.70 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
