Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Braintree, MA to protect a government transportation location. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and respond professionally to situations while delivering excellent customer service.

A concealed carry weapons permit is required and the role includes working Day/Evening shifts with a full-time schedule. You will be part of a team that supports public safety and security operations.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, access points, roadways, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel.

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, access points, roadways, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and report access-control irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate emergency personnel and site contacts as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

As a Security Officer Armed Protective Presence in Braintree, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a government transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations with professionalism, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $23.79 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
