Starting pay is $25.88 per hour, with paid orientation and paid training; candidate must have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ year of security experience. You will conduct patrols, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication on a government transportation location.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Ability to pass security training programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and agency personnel while carrying out security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms and notify appropriate personnel and emergency services.
• Maintain readiness and accountability for assigned equipment, including firearms, per laws and site procedures.
• Prepare accurate patrol, incident, and observation logs.

Monday, Thursday, Friday 3 PM - 11 PM AND Saturday, Sunday 7 AM - 3 PM

Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience

As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and agency personnel while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transportation facilities, offices, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Maintain readiness and accountability for assigned authorized equipment, including firearms, in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and logs regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions with the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
