What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to transportation facility personnel, visitors, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transportation buildings, parking areas, access points, roadways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or irregular conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate transportation and emergency personnel when needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities, and maintain required equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
