Allied Universal in Taylorsville, NC is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response Driver to safeguard government and other facilities. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and other designated areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; request additional assistance and/or notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response Driver in Taylorsville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government correctional location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
