As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Troy, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding communication and customer service while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation; maintain professional communication with site personnel and responding law enforcement and/or emergency services.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
