Allied Universal in Spruce Pine, NC seeks a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol Driver to protect government facilities. You will perform armed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining professional communication with staff and authorities.

The role requires a valid driver’s license; armed card preferred. This full-time position offers shift-based hours and the opportunity to advance within a nationwide security organization.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, perimeter areas, and parking locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and control access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate site personnel and emergency responders.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the assigned location.

As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol Driver in Spruce Pine, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional service and clear communication. What You’ll Do:
