Allied Universal in Merrimack, NH is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Operations. In this role, you will protect clients across aerospace/defense sectors, perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver professional customer service.

This full-time position offers a pay rate of $28.70 per hour and a day-shift schedule Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training may be required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
