Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer with active DoD Secret Clearance for our aerospace/defense site in Nashua, NH. You will provide security procedures, patrol facilities, monitor access, and deliver customer service while maintaining safety and compliance.

The role offers an hourly wage of $22.84 and a flexible schedule, including Tue 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM and Wed 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shifts.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and following site-specific entry and escort procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Pay Rate: $22.84 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
