Job summary

Allied Universal in Merrimack, NH is seeking a Security Officer with Active Clearance Patrol Monitoring to safeguard clients in aerospace/defense and other industries. You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced site.

Requirements include an active DoD Secret clearance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background and drug checks.

Qualifications

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

What You'll Do:

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
