Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Armed Patrol Operations in Merrimack, NH. You will conduct routine armed patrols, deter security incidents, and deliver excellent customer service at aerospace/defense sites.

You will follow site procedures, respond to alarms, monitor access points, and report observations to leadership. A strong safety mindset and professional communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card/license preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns and critical situations calmly.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries.
• Document observations and incidents and communicate to leadership and site representatives.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $28.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Tue: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wed: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
