Qualifications

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Armed Guard Card or license.
• CPR certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and restricted areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and support site entry protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally following post orders.
• Document observations and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Observation in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, team-focused culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and support compliance with site entry, escort, and restricted-area protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
