Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Dispatch Communications Coordinator in Marietta, GA. You will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and support personnel and visitors at an aerospace and defense billing operations site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Handcuffing certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location.
• Dispatch security personnel to routine service requests, alarms, incidents, and critical situations.
• Monitor calls, radio traffic, alarms, and electronic systems; document activity in logs and reports.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate notifications as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols and report issues to appropriate personnel.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Dispatch security-related personnel to routine service requests, alarms, incidents, and critical situations; maintain clear communication with responding staff and site contacts.
• Monitor incoming calls, radio traffic, alarm notifications, and electronic systems; document activity accurately in dispatch logs and incident reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating notifications according to established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, reporting unusual conditions, access concerns, and facility issues to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
