• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• 1+ years armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Participation in security training programs; licensing may be required.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points, banking areas, and surrounding property and report concerns per site procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate logs and incident reports, and communicate with site contacts and leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, banking areas, and the surrounding property while maintaining awareness of unusual activity and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as directed.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
