As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Guard Card in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct visible patrols, monitor assigned areas, respond to security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at transportation facilities and surrounding areas.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, administrative buildings, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and requesting additional support when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, check credentials, and assist with access-control procedures for restricted areas, employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Maintain readiness and handle authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, company policies, and site-specific requirements; complete required reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess a 40 caliber endorsement.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
