Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license per policy.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to identify and report hazards.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain incident documentation, and communicate information to staff and supervisors.
• Maintain a professional presence and provide courteous directions to residents and guests.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Patrol Driver in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting residents, visitors, and property staff. Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain accurate activity and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to property personnel and Allied Universal supervision.
• Help maintain a professional presence throughout the residential community while providing courteous assistance and directions to residents and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
