Job summary

Allied Universal in Hot Springs National Park, AR is seeking an Armed Patrol Driver Enhanced for part‑time hours. This role provides reliable, flexible scheduling with opportunities to earn more by picking up shifts across sites while maintaining high security standards.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, students, visitors, and staff while carrying out security‑related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of campus buildings, technology‑focused facilities, parking areas, and surrounding grounds.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Carry assigned equipment in accordance with laws, licensing requirements, and site post orders.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Enhanced Part Time in Hot Springs National Park, AR, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, students, visitors, and staff while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, technology‑focused facilities, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations through established procedures.
• Carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site‑specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
