• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident information in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with facility personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Maintain a professional armed presence while observing and reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel at a government corrections location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
