Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state of the job.
• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or a college degree.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check per laws.
• Background and drug screening as required.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of public-facing service areas, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, following site procedures for entry, restricted areas, and credential verification.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and report observations and incidents according to site policy.
• Deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional presence, observing conditions, and communicating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or responding agencies.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Norcross, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do

• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional presence, observing conditions, and communicating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or responding agencies.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
