Allied Universal seeks a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Perimeter Inspection in Atlanta, GA. You will provide security for government facilities, conduct armed patrols, and monitor access.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with appropriate personnel and agencies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Prepare accurate patrol and incident reports and maintain daily activity documentation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
