Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is hiring a Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol Associate to monitor and protect client sites across tech, media, and telecom sectors. You will perform routine patrols, respond to incidents, and document actions while delivering courteous customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter, checking doors, gates, and restricted areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor security-related systems such as access control points, cameras, and alarms when assigned, and report irregular conditions per post orders.
• Complete routine reports and shift logs, issue badges or temporary credentials when required by site policy, and assist with directing deliveries and service providers to approved areas.

Job Description

As a Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol Associate in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer-focused service. Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
