Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain required documentation, including daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol records.
• Carry and handle assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
