How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized guests at a government military location by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, maintaining awareness of restricted areas and reporting access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, observations, and actions taken.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
