Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Status Reporting in Everett, MA. This role offers reliable fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $22.75 per hour for part-time work, with a six-month anchor shift commitment at a designated site and opportunities to expand experience across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law; subject to drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs and reports.
• Observe and report hazards, damaged equipment, and policy violations to site leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Status Reporting in Everett, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.75 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Wed - 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, and designated operational areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Observe and report potential hazards, damaged equipment, unusual conditions, and policy violations to appropriate site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
