Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver Level III in Houston, TX. You will conduct armed patrols at a retail site, deter incidents with a visible presence, and deliver strong customer service while complying with certification requirements.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, Level III Armed Certification in Texas, and a minimum age of 21. Day/evening shifts are included, with full-time hours and a pay rate of $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver Level III in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, customer disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Maintain awareness of activity throughout the location, document observations and incidents, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
