Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Guard Patrol Driver in Houston, TX. The role involves protecting assets across retail locations, patrolling premises, and providing customer service.

Qualified candidates will have a Texas Level III Armed Certification, a valid driver’s license, and 3+ years of armed security experience or 5+ years in the field. This is a full-time, on-site position with a competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Texas Level III Armed Certification is required.
• 3+ years of combined law enforcement/corrections/military or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Background check and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store customers, associates, vendors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for suspicious behavior, theft-related concerns, and policy violations; communicate observations to site leadership and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver Risk Assessment in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
