Qualifications

• Must possess Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per federal, state and local laws.
• A drug screen will be performed as a condition of employment.
• Participants may be required to complete industry-specific security training.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, helping to deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site-specific requirements, and complete accurate incident documentation.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Risk Assessment in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. This role requires a Level III Armed Certification in Texas and offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
