Job Description

As a Cleared Security Officer - Armed DoD Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an armed patrol officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a secure environment. This role requires carrying a firearm and may involve driving responsibilities. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with personnel and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including both interior and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and help to deter unauthorized access or breaches within the facility.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies.
• Participate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for potential threats or emergencies specific to the aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license with over 1 year of experience is required
• Level III Armed Security Officer Certification is required for positions in Texas.
• An active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Texas Security Armed Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
