Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Clearance in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Department of Defense and more.

In the Aero/Defense location, as an Armed Officer, you will be tasked with monitoring designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. This role involves driving responsibilities and requires maintaining a visible presence while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time: Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
• An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
