Job Description

As a Cleared Security Officer - Armed Aero in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more.

As a Cleared Armed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and attention to detail. You will interact with personnel and visitors, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour - Secret

$29.00 / Hour - Top Secret

$38.38 / Hour - Yankee White

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities

1. Carry out security procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors.
2. Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed.
3. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
4. Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with established protocols for aerospace and defense locations.
5. Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
6. Collaborate with site staff and law enforcement as required to address incidents or emergencies within the location.

Minimum Requirements

1. Must possess a valid Texas Armed Security Professional License.
2. Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
3. Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet AU Driver Policy requirements.
4. Must hold a Level III Armed Security Officer Certification for Texas.
5. Must have an active Department of Defense Secret or higher Clearance.
6. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
7. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
8. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
9. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
10. Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
11. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
12. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
