Position Overview

A Security Professional - DOD Top Secret in Tampa, FL will serve and safeguard clients across various industries, including Tech/Media/Telecom. This role involves monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting a culture built on teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Details

• Position Type: Full Time
• Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour
• Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday, 12:00 AM - 07:00 AM; Sunday, 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information.
• Greet guests and employees, escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances.
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations.

Qualifications (Must Have)

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
• State and/or local licensing requirements.
• Minimum of three (3) years security experience on a DoD-cleared site, or prior military experience.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills for operating wireless technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience.
• Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or related field.
