Job Description

As a Security Officer - Cleared Armed Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer in the Aero/Defense location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires you to be armed and possess a valid driver's license, as driving may be part of your duties. You will conduct routine patrols, maintaining visibility to assist in preventing incidents, while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time: Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
• An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
• Texas Security Professional Guard Card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
