Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring for a Security Officer Armed Dispatch Driving Role in Marietta, GA. You will coordinate communications, monitor activity, dispatch personnel, document incidents, and provide responsive customer service at an aerospace/defense site.

This full-time role requires experience or a college degree, an Armed Guard Card, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Armed Guard Card or license is required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as part of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch routine and emergency calls via radio, telephone, and systems.
• Monitor security systems and document incidents and dispatch activity per site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate notifications as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols and report unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.

Security Officer Armed Dispatch Driving Role in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Dispatch Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, dispatch personnel, document incidents, and provide responsive customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $27.03 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and supporting security-related operations at an aerospace and defense location.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch routine and emergency calls for service to appropriate personnel, maintaining clear communication through radio, telephone, and electronic systems.
• Monitor security-related systems, alarms, and communications; document incidents, requests, and dispatch activity in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and support as directed by established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, and report unusual conditions or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
