Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Dispatch Security Officer in Marietta, GA to support aerospace/defense operations. You will coordinate communications, dispatch resources, and maintain accurate incident documentation while providing outstanding customer service.

This full-time position requires 3+ years of security-related experience or a college degree, an armed guard card, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Armed guard card or license is required.
• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Drug screen and background investigation will be conducted.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and implement site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor alarms and calls, dispatch personnel, and document incidents.
• Coordinate communications between site staff, visitors, and responders.
• Maintain dispatch logs and incident records for aerospace/defense location.
• Conduct regular patrols and report unusual activity or conditions.

Pay Rate: $27.03 / Hour

• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific and security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, and communications, dispatching appropriate personnel and documenting incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Coordinate communications between site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders to support timely responses to incidents and critical situations.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and records related to access, deliveries, and operational activity in an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
