Qualifications

• Handcuffing certification preferred.
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds (preferred).
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• State/local licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while supporting access-control activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Receive, document, prioritize, and dispatch security-related calls, alarms, service requests, and incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor communications systems, maintain dispatch logs, and relay information during routine operations and emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following escalation/notification procedures.
• Coordinate regular and random patrol assignments around the facility and perimeter.

As a Security Officer Armed Communications Console in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Dispatch Professional at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor communications, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, maintain detailed records, and support site operations through clear, professional communication. Your visible presence and timely coordination will help deter incidents while delivering exceptional service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $27.03 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and supporting access-control activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Receive, document, prioritize, and dispatch security-related calls, alarms, service requests, and/or incident information to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor communications systems, maintain accurate dispatch logs, and relay relevant information during routine operations and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Coordinate regular and random patrol assignments around the facility and perimeter, helping to support awareness of site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
