As a Security Officer - Armed Defense Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense. This role involves monitoring and patrolling designated areas, remaining visible to deter security incidents, conducting routine patrols, responding to situations, and providing excellent customer service and communication. The position requires carrying a firearm and may include driving responsibilities. You will work collaboratively, demonstrate integrity, and uphold our people-first values.

Requirements

• Active DOD Security Clearance
• Valid driver’s license per AU Driver Policy
• Active Texas Security Armed Guard Card (Level 3)
• At least 21 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Background check and drug screening as per legal requirements

Details

• Part-Time Position
• Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour
• Schedule: Daytime Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service following security procedures and responding to emergencies
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols inside and outside the facility
• Monitor for suspicious activity and deter unauthorized access
• Document incidents and activities per protocols
• Collaborate with personnel and law enforcement during emergencies
• Stay alert and ready to respond to various situations
