As a Cleared Security Officer - Armed Aero Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients across various industries, including Aero/Defense. Your role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to deter security incidents, interacting with personnel and visitors, and providing excellent customer service. This is an armed position requiring routine patrols and prompt response to incidents, with an emphasis on security in aerospace and defense environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security procedures and site-specific policies while delivering customer service.
• Respond calmly to incidents, including emergencies.
• Conduct armed patrols to deter unauthorized activity, focusing on aerospace and defense site needs.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for restricted areas.
• Document incidents and activities in detailed reports.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Active DOD Secret or higher clearance.
• Valid driver’s license for over 1 year.
• Level III Armed Security Officer Certification in Texas.
• Texas Security Armed Guard Card.
• At least 21 years old.
• High school diploma/equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screening as per law.

Position Details

• Part Time
• Pay Rate: $22.55/hour
• Schedule: Fridays 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Saturdays 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
