Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Defense Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as needed, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. The position requires carrying a firearm and may involve driving responsibilities. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others, demonstrating integrity, and upholding our commitment to people-first values.

*This position requires an Active DOD Security Clearence*

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including the business interior and perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and help to deter unauthorized access or behavior within the facility.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to a variety of situations that may arise in an aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
• Must have a Active Texas Security Armed Guard Card (Level 3).
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
