Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Clinical Response in Kansas City, MO. This full-time position offers $25.33 per hour and requires armed credentials, with duties including patrols across healthcare facilities, incident response, and maintaining a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

You will perform regular armed patrols, monitor access, and prepare incident reports while collaborating with hospital staff and public agencies.

Competenze

• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• At least 1 year of armed security-related or law enforcement experience.
• Willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• Willing to work in a hospital morgue.
• Able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Complete industry-specific security training.
• Licensing as required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and report unusual conditions or incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with healthcare staff, patients, visitors, and responding public agencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• Be willing to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
