Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver in Ridley Park, PA. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts, and a pay rate of $29.23 per hour.

This part-time position focuses on reliability, customer service, and strict adherence to site protocols at aerospace/defense locations. Eligible candidates must have a valid driver’s license and Act 235 qualification in PA, plus be at least 21 for armed roles.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements, escalating access concerns as directed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation while working in a professional manner.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver in Ridley Park, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $29.23 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess an Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
