As an Armed Patrol Officer at a premier residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, members, guests, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for residents, guests, vendors, and service personnel in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security‑related activities, and maintain a professional presence while carrying authorized equipment in compliance with applicable laws and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
