Allied Universal in Boca Raton, FL is hiring for a Security Officer Full Time Armed Courtesy to protect residents and guests, conduct patrols, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns with professionalism.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• At least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and in accordance with procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, vendor, and contractor authorization.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation and communicate information to leadership.

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, vendor, and contractor authorization in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
