Job Details

• Schedule: Mon-Tues 3pm-11pm, Wed 11pm-7am, Sat-Sun 7am-3pm
• Location: Hospital Blount

Responsibilities

• Provide security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.
• Monitor and respond to security threats proactively.
• Investigate, document, and manage security incidents and hazards.
• Follow policies on alarms and emergency preparedness, facilitate drills.
• Assist staff and visitors to promote safety.
• Operate safely to prevent accidents and violations.

Minimum Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire (AHA or ARC accepted).
• In-state (Alabama) concealed carry weapons permit.
• Drivers license from Alabama DMV.
• Security Professional certification preferred.
• High school diploma or 1 year of relevant experience required.
• Licenses/certifications can substitute for education/experience if applicable.
